By Oluwatoyin Mathnuel INSIGHT MAG ONLINE NEWS 📰

We must start by appreciating concern of everybody, who have inaudated us with calls, posts and sms, to call our attention to the viral news report of several online media with the headline "NDLEA arrests Wasiu Ayinde with over 5000 capsules of illegal drug".

To separate facts from fiction: Our dear Compatriots, it is Olalekan Wasiu Ayinde, a young man between 30 to 40 years of age, that was arrested by the men of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) with the said drugs at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, about 2 days ago and not Mayegun Odu'a, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde, K1, who celebrated his 65th Birthday Anniversary over the weekend. 'A koni ri inan ni Kanga, o se wo". It is an abberation to even think of using this highly sensitive caption that could tarnish the good reputation built by Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde, k1, over the long period of time with criminal activities of some unscrupulous elements in our Society.

We rushed to google it, several newslinks have actually carried it and they all used "NDLEA arrests Wasiu Ayinde ..." as headline to market their individual news.

"Many Happy Returns Mayegun Odu'a. Our next Press Release will take care of your tribute in recognition of your untiring efforts towards  promotion of Fuji music Sir. -Awa Bamiji"

'Above is my personal text message to our Rave of the moment, Promoter of Yoruba Culture and Tradition through music and I was shocked to my marrow having listened to every concerned individual on the headline

It is irony that this is the way God wanted us to publicly celebrate you and wish you long life and prosperity at 65, our own Mayegun Odu'a.

We, Agbarijo Egbe Odo Yoruba, Grand Council of Yoruba Youths, as the NDLEA Ambassadors' Group, hereby express our displeasure over this method of reportage because it is not everybody that will have time to read the details.
